Founders Story

I am a CPESC certified Environmental Engineer based in Newcastle with over 16 years in the industry and extensive Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) experience in NSW.

I founded Savvy ESC in 2024 after seeing the poor quality of ESC Plans being prepared for single lot residential developments. I knew that we could do better, especially considering the significant adverse sedimentation impacts the current process was having on our rivers, infrastructure and oceans.

To be fair, at the time, engaging a suitably qualified person to prepare the plans was, to a large degree, financially impractical. My new approach of harnessing technological automation to compliment my extensive ESC experience now allows quality plans to be developed at low costs. I hope I can do my little bit to help streamline the development process whilst improving environmental outcomes.
