Frequently Asked Questions
-
You wouldn’t use it. But this is something that many Councils require and more and more will require over time. It’s also only intended for developments with anticipated ground disturbance.
-
You may not need it. But first ask yourself these questions. Can you do it in 10 minutes? Can you do it cheaper than us (with consideration of your hourly rates)? Are you CPESC certified?
-
We can’t. But we are working closely with local Council’s across as many different regions as we can to ensure that it does. If anything, the ESC Plan will likely be over-engineered considering we are designing it to cover so many requirements. We’ll also offer a refund if Council don’t approve the plan (provided we can get feedback on why they didn’t approve the plan so that we can update the platform). Plus, you will be able to go back and edit the ESC Plans at no extra cost, including the addition of custom notes which can be used to address any unique Council requirements specific to the site.
-
No more than current ESC Plans do. This might seem unrealistic as all sites are different but sites where it would not be possible would be identified within the preliminary questions (e.g. too large a disturbance area, too steep, too much clean water runoff etc). We are confident that it would be suitable for the vast majority of development applications.

All ESC Plans are conceptual and need to be verified on-site. This is a risk of all ESC Plans. The platform has gone through a robust testing phase. ESC Plans generated from the platform make it clear that the controls shown would need to be verified on-site and amended as required.
